WHEREAS, the Town of Shandaken shall perform certain snow plowing and sanding services
during the winter of 2010 – 2011 for and on the premises of the Mt. Tremper, Phoenicia, Shandaken, Big Indian – Oliverea and the Pine Hill Firehouses,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that for and in consideration of such snow plowing and sanding services the said firehouses shall pay to the Town of Shandaken the sum of $1.00 receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the fire districts shall save the Town of Shandaken free of any claims, causes of action or liability for damages to persons or property arising out of the services to be performed by the Town of Shandaken, its agents, servants or employees in the performance of this agreement

WHEREAS, The Town of Shandaken Town Board understands the need to provide quality Healthcare coverage to its employees and
WHEREAS, currently all employees on the Town’s Healthcare Plan contribute 15% on the Single w/dependants Plan and 25% to the Family Plan and
WHEREAS, currently Single Plan Members make no contribution,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as per the Town Board of the Town of Shandaken effective January 1, 2011, any employees who, currently or in the future plans to, exercise their right to the Single Plan coverage under the Town of Shandaken is to contribute 10% of the total cost of said Health Plan, whatever company is providing said coverage.
