The Town of Shandaken Highway department is seeking applications for an HMEO driver.
*Must have Clean CDL*
*Must have heavy equipment operating experiance*
*Must be available for overtime*
*Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings*
$27.49 per hour – 6:30-3:00 M-F
Benefits & retirement available upon permanent appointment.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent placement

The Town of Shandaken Is looking to fulfill the position of Full Time Mechanic,
pay to start at $29.69. This position will require working closely under a lead mechanic.
The position includes performing skilled maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of automotive equipment, and machinery such as bulldozers, graders, pavers, backhoes, mowers and other heavy equipment.
Applicants must possess a clean NYS class B driver’s license, Thorough knowledge of both diesel and gasoline engines; ability to make difficult repairs to automotive and other mechanical equipment; Ability to work well under pressure & possess a good work mentality..
NYS retirement, benefits & deferred comp available.
Must pass a pre employment drug screen.
