NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Shandaken Town Board will hold a Special Town Board Meeting on June 22, at 10:00 am. The Purpose of this meeting will be to open and award crushing bids for the Town of Shandaken Highway Department. This meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 7209 Route 28, Shandaken, New York.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF BIDS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Shandaken Highway Department is seeking bids for crushing 5000 to 7000 tons of bank run gravel and some asphalt and concrete road waste to 1″ minus in a closed-circuit type crusher. Included in bid any transportation fees and other charges necessary to complete the job. Work must be completed between July 1st and August 15th or ASAP at the Town of Shandaken Gravel Bank at 72 Route 42, Shandaken, New York. Specifications are available at the Highway Superintendent’s Office, 7209 Route 28, Shandaken, New York or by calling 845-688-9901.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that bids will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, 7209 Route 28, Shandaken, New York until 3:00 pm on June 21, 2011, to be opened at a Special Town Board meeting on June 22, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Shandaken Town Hall, 7209 Route 28, Shandaken, New York. Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

WHEREAS, the Town Board pursuant to Resoluton #83 advertised to receive bids for crushing gravel to 1” from the Town owned gravel bank. And
WHEREAS these bids were received until 3:00 pm on June 21, and were opened and read during an advertised Special Town Board meeting on this date at 10:00 am

THEREFORE be it resolved that this bid be awarded to Clark Stone Products , Inc. Delhi, New York, crush stone and gravel for the Highway Department, for the bid amount of $3.50 per ton and will furnish a closed circuit plant, fuel and manpower to run the plant and loader.
