There is no Garbage Transfer station in the Town of Shandaken. You may contact private companies to pick up your garbage or residents are welcome to bring their household garbage to the  Saugerties Transfer Station located just past Woodstock at #1765 Rt. 212.
*There is a $5. per use fee or you may buy a $25 per yr. permit at their gate.

Shandaken Recycling Center is located behind the Town Hall at 7209 Rt. 28 Shandaken.
Description: Recycle paper, cans, glass, metal, cardboard
